Great to see Paul Martland back in action as he took over the management of Freckleton FC, The newley reformed Club were welcomed back to football with a fixture against an AFC Fylde XI despite the 5-1 Freckleton Win, the game was played in the right spirit with some talented young players on show from both sides.

Good to see,
the situation that allowed Freckleton FC to be closed down and local football at that level taken away from youngsters on a saturday in the area was terrible.

Well done Paul for getting it going again

They were some of Pauls lads from KJFC, AFC Fylde under 18's and Res's days, these lads are still only 21 and need football, going to have 2 teams so plenty of football for everyone, most are local lads. Some you may remember from Pauls squad are Mike Nolan, Craig Burke, Ross Ainsworth, Glen Martland, all part of Pauls under 18's who won the under 18 Floodlit League still playing neat football and they showed it last night against Fylde's Young guns. It was real quality football looking forward to more of the same. Get down to Freck on a Saturday when Fylde are away if you love football. I'ts a great family day out with bar open and great facilities. Welcome back Freckleton FC. the future looks bright :D
